Even ponies need to protect their crops from hungry crows. So, they would set up scarecrows, like we humans do. Unfortunately, they don't work for long. Crows are very intelligent birds, and they soon learn that the strange figure in the cornfield is a fake, and even a new perch. Despite not actually being scary to Corvids, scarecrows are nonetheless decorative effigies, even if they're pony-shaped.

Since they're usually included in Halloween, I decided to do a scarecrow vector. It's a such a shame the only reference of one was in one episode, "Appleloosa's Most Wanted," and it wasn't close-up enough to get the tracing exact. "Bats!" had a perfect close-up of one, but it was on the ground. I got started on this weeks ago, but it proved to be very difficult. After I did the head, I took a break. But I can't stop until Halloween comes and goes, so I had to finish up despite more struggles. In the end, here it is. If you have any fall or Nightmare Night projects and you need a scarecrow, well you got one. I will also make a very special one, only its head will be different. Very different. ;)
