'Too Close' Series: I — Important Question

Rainbow Dash is concerned, and getting on my case about not drawing Pony stuff as frequently… and maybe yours too! Who knows?


It's true. I haven't been drawing PONY ponies as often that much anymore. Both publicly and personally, humans and humanized characters have been dominating my attention and sketchbooks for the most part. A stark contrast from years back when ponies were literally ALL I felt like drawing.

I wanted to remediate this in a kinda fun way…


This is the first installment to what I am going to call the "Too Close Series", in which each of the mane 6 (including some extras), will have the opportunity to invade your personal space and mine; getting right up close to the screen and staring right into your soul, for various reasons~.

If anything aside from churning out more MLPs, it's an excuse for me to get to draw their big ole' eyes, which will forever be my favorite aspect of the G4 designs. Forward facing ponies give me LIFE!
