What a fun night to have a brisk walk through the snowy streets, enjoying a freshly baked cinnamon roll, and meeting all the other merry pones also celebrating the holiday. This is certainly my favorite season.
Wowie this piece really crept up on me. It's always you think you have plenty of time and then last minute have to rush it. That was made worse with this rather crazy 2023 year becoming a slow train wreck by the end. Things worked out okay in the end, though I had to travel for the holidays so I had to finish this piece with a laptop totally not designed for doing art. I can't believe I used this laptop for a lot of my art, as the latency can reach to a whole second. Also having to use my old smaller drawing tablet did bring a lot of nostalgia, and it definitely makes me appreciate my display tablet. I suppose with this year actually squeezing more pieces that previous years and even completing the EQD's Artist's Training Ground, it's kinda fitting end with my old equipment—or it's just fate conspiring to further inconvenience me.
