O-KAAAAAAY, I was waiting on this one for a while! I actually placed the order for it back in May 2023, damn near a year ago now. When I originally ordered a comm from GahoWolf it was going to be another project that was eventually done by another artist, but through circumstances involving artist license we decided to switch gears and make it a Sandbard piece instead…and that got me bumped far down the commission queue and almost forgotten for like, eight months. XP

Anyway it's done now: a follow up/sequel to this original piece.

Seems Sandbar is still sitting in the stocks and will be for a while…it's not so bad for him really, he gets a break from the usual footsores of the road, gets to enjoy a beautiful vista every day, still has his lute to play and in spite of their supposed aversion to minstrels nopony's gagged him yet so he can sing to his heart's content. He wouldn't mind so much if not for the fact that the food service here is terrible, half of the veggies are already rotting when they pelt him with them! XD

It's not like anypony's complaining about having free music to serenade their ears while they toil in the fields…certainly not the younger mares and stallions that keep stealing glances at him when they think he's not looking. Sandbar likes to repay their distant affections by composing a special song just about them and how cute they are, that really gets them blushing. >//w//<

Well it seems his charms have drawn a bit too much attention from a local stable boy and milkmaid, who have decided to amuse themselves with the village prisoner, by making him sing a song of their own for them… >:)

Initially Sandbar wasn't too worried by the threats of tickling, since he still had his trust boots on and they where caught by the ankles in the stocks. But with a bit of effort, the craft pair just peeled the soles of his footwear off to expose the helpless feet inside! Now they have all day to torment the imprisoned bard and make him squeal, cry and laugh his head off!

Poor Sandbar can do nothing then beg for mercy not forthcoming, both of his torturers intrigued and amused by just how sensitive and ticklish their victim is. He has no choice but to sing for them, his soles their instrument, his laughter the tune, his pleas and squeals the lyrics…
I wonder what will happen when the rest of the village hears him and realises just how ticklish he is! You REALLY should have read the sign, bard! Now you're doomed! >XD
