I am incredibly nervous posting this idea of mine. Anywho… YES… I did use the original Tell Your Tale art as a template for the redesigns I had in mind. I really just wanted to test out how I could make their original faces less CalArts. How did I do? Lemme know.

I snuck Misty in there because she deserves it. She's actually the only character I like out of the whole show, so why not put her in the the others?

The "logo" is really there to fill in some space. I decided to go with some groovy word art while listening to "Send Love Through" from the movie Rock and Rule.

Ok, some key points in this AU of mine:

-the whole setting is on a completely different continent, an island if you will

-Sunny is from Ponyville, the others are from the three cities on this new island

-none of the three tribes learned to fear each other. My take is that they were forcibly separated by the evil queen, Opaline

- Zipp is a mad genius who loves science, not acting like a detective. She lost a wing in an experiment gone wrong, ripped the other one off for "symmetrical purposes," and replaced them with robot wings

- Izzy has a different cutie mark, but it is not visible in this picture. She is more geared towards fine arts than being crafty, but is still very crafty and creative

There's tons more to explain. I'm making a whole-ass rewrite of the plot of the movie. But for now, this is what I have to present. I'm thinking about writing the AU and posting it here on DA.
