There's a few thing that are different with him.
For starters, there's the bandages. He has them because of his wings that are slowly, and painfully, beginning to grow out.
The continuous pain has made him cranky and slightly lazy.
But because he is held up in a library, he has taken reading more seriously. Especially philosophy and mythology.
