Bio

Since Cheese Sandwich is designed after Weird Al, I decided I wanted to model one of the CheesePie kids after a celebrity. Chappell Roan really stuck out to me, so here we are!


Strawberry Roan Pie is the first born to Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich, and is thus the oldest in the sibling lineup. She got her cutiemark singing a love-ballad while baking valentines day treats for her classmates. She loved dress-up as a filly and brings the energy in her on-stage costumes for her performances. Roan is upbeat, bubbly, and usually has a smile on her face. She's confident in her skills and loves her family very much, usually sending gift-baskets back home while she's out on tour. She can be a little mischievous, pulling small pranks on her touring team and giving witty responses.


She's not very involved with TSMC, having gone through the Ponyville public school system (TSMC is technically a private school) and rising to stardom soon after graduation. Though she's young and largely inexperienced compared to her peers who have been in the industry for years, she's been blessed with kind-hearted ponies to help her along on her journey.


I designed her coat specifically after a Roan coat-pattern, otherwise I would've modeled her a little closer to Chappell. Check out the 30 sec speedpaint clip on my Instagram :)

I also learned as I was writing this desc. that Chappell Roan named her stage name after her grandfather, Dennis Chappell, and his favorite song, "The Strawberry Roan"

so I think I chose a fitting name lol!

Has a huge sweet tooth for chocolate

She's slightly smaller than your average pony.

Has a secret love for old western music, and would write her country songs while hiding out in the fields of Sweet Apple Acres. She hopes someday she has the bravery to explore both pop and country professionally!

Is the only pony in her family that doesn't have autism.
