Hard Butterscotch Candy is the son of Igneous Rock Pie and Pear Butter. Don't let his soft fluffy hair and doe-eyed expression fool you; he's just as stoic and gruff as his dad, sometimes even moreso. He's tough to make friends with, but once a pony breaks down his hard shell, they find a very caring and loyal friend. The only time he softens up is when he's doing his favorite thing in the world, which is making candy. He's got a major sweet tooth, especially for butterscotch, and makes big batches for himself, his family, and his closest friends. He feels awkward giving gifts in person, though, so he usually just leaves little bags of sweets on his friends' porches or in their mailboxes.
