I keep thinking of what could have been in G5 and I'm a little sad so many script ideas didn't make it to the cut. Little Misty, believing in her hero who 'rescued' her from the dark could've been such an interesting angle. Maybe she pledged her loyalty back then — maybe Opaline considered they could have been friends.
You ever love a show because of what could have been? Objectively, I found G5 frustratingly base level. I'm not upset it's aimed more at kids than G4, because I love mlp for what it is as a kids show. But I am frustrated we didn't get closure or expansion for characters like Opaline! What do you think?
