"Now then, while I'm in Ponyville dropping off a few little gifts for some of my friends, I'm taking over for Arthur this evening while he sees to finalising his Christmas preparations for his children's big day tomorrow, and I wanted to say a few things on his behalf."



"Firstly, no matter the faith or creed that you follow, if any at all, and wherever you may be- he hopes that you have a wonderful time throughout these last few days of December. He wishes every last one of you the very best of cheer and goodwill during this Christmas and New year period."



"For those of you that are curious, Christmas is not something that Arthur celebrates personally due to a lot of nasty baggage attached to it from his childhood, and it is an incredibly difficult time of year for him. However, his primary focus has, and always will be, his children, and he puts an awful lot of effort into making sure that they have the best Christmas that they can possibly have."



"Next up, he will be focusing on completing his Nightkin deer project as and when time allows, and more actual ponies should likely be following at some point closer to the new year."



"After that, he is going to take a little solo vacation abroad in the USA for a couple of weeks to clear his head once more prior to getting stuck in with art again."



"And no, I didn't leave him on his own tonight, my good friend Choco Mint is looking after him and making sure he doesn't get into his bottle of Captain Morgan dark rum too early. Besides, between you and me, I think she might just have bit of a thing for him- don't tell her I told you!"
