Okay. For real. Last Christmas themed drawing of the day. And perhaps the year…. Depends on if I get another bug to draw more.



So, Twilight is not an easy one for me to color. I used two different markers for her coat between the first and second one. The second is better, but still not the right shade of purple I think. Her hair on the other hand, those were a problem. I think the pink is the right shade, but the blue and purple are both too dark, making the pink stand out way too much. The Blue is almost there, but a little too saturated, and I really didn't think I could get the right shade with the markers I have.



The Purple streak, that one was a problem. First try was with a dark purple marker and is just too dark. The second I tried mixing Red and Blue, to get Purple, but I choose the wrong red and blue……. Turned on pretty much black and makes the pink stand out that much more….



I am pretty proud about using a red pencil to draw in her fishnets after the face. No way I was going to be able to do that with markers.



Anyway, I'd be fine wherever the dress ended up.
