The eldritch knight slammed against the hard stone cliff face and crumpled to the ground. Grimacing in pain as he slowly got back to his hooves. Shaking his head to clear it he looked around for is adversary. The late afternoon was shrouded by a reddish hazy sky that partially obscured the now setting sun.


Then he heard his opponent speak to him from above. Looking up his eyes settled upon the batpony mare hovering above him. Her blued steel plate armor clicked and clinked as she flapped her wings. The long stiletto dagger/short sword blade was reddish orange in the colored light, and a steady stream of swirling black smoke/vapors flowed from the blade. The mare stared at the knight with icy cold glare. Both with her one good eye and her other cloudy white one. Finally she spoke.


"Ask not for mercy, for I will not give it. Ask not for forgiveness for I am incapable of granting it."
