Continuing the week of the Apple Family, we have a younger Granny Smith.



So, sometimes when I do this I think the colors will work in my head, and when I put them down, they still work. Maybe not the right shade, but the right hue. Yellow with a lime green? Nope… Fail on thus one. Maybe I have too bright of green for her, but even then I don't think the yellows would do it.



Also, I messed up on the hands and when I inked them forgot that she had oven mitts on to hold the freshly baked pie. The OTHER drawing had her holding up pie with a bare hand… But after drawing one hand, couldn't just have the other one with an oven mitt… This happens when you sketch something up but don't ink it until the next day. You forget what the sketchy details were supposed to detail.



Anyway, who want's some pie?
