Rainbow Dash is an obnoxious tomboy stereotype, Pinky Pie is WAY beyond the over-the-top meter, Apple Jack is…. there, Rarity is…. who is she? And Twilight Sparkle— NO. NO.

Anyway, I ADORE DISCORD. I love his voice, I love his lines, I love his actions, and he is an actual villain in the story. He was a lot of fun to draw and hoped to make him look almost "god-ish" with the hazy effects since he is the demon of discord, technically.
