So, as the name implies, this song is sort of soundtrack to the dream sequences in "Sleepless in Ponyville." It's an attempt to convey the surreal and floaty, but very real presence and effect of the dreams that Scootaloo is having, as it builds from a slow and stark, dissonant start to a cacophony of synth-induced mind trips, fueled by the repetitive dance of the many over-filtered synth stabs and bass hits that make up the chorus, finally calming into a fading memory of forgotten sounds and reverbed synths, resolved entirely by bare crackling and white noise, accompanied by a strange retelling of the line that resolves Scootaloo's problem in the episode itself:

"Everypony has fears, Scootaloo. Everypony must face them in their own way. But they must be faced, or the nightmares will continue."
