Celestia had been naive to Luna's suffering for so long, the lashing out, the comments. Celestia brushed it off as Luna being moody. How she wished she was more attentive.
Amidst their battle Celestia tried her best to reason with Luna, to apologize for all her wrongs. It was no use, Luna was set on her new path. Their battle shook their castle, leaving nothing but ruins. Celestia quickly realized a decision would have to be made, she could not let her subjects suffer. With a heavy heart she used the Element of Harmony to banish Luna to the moon.
Celestia sat in the remains of her destroyed home, her eyes only focused on the moon. Tears streaming down her face. She would know no peace until her sister would return.
