Backstory: Prince Wei is a ruler of a faraway kingdom, but he is drawn from that path. He wants a career in entertainment, particularly film, television, and comedy. When he was a child, he won a gold medal at an ice skating contest, which entertained the crowd, and he still loves the sport to this very day. Before he met Melody Everbelle, Wei started dating Regina Rose, whom he disliked very much because of the arguments they would get into. When Melody first met Wei at a theatre in Ponyville, she became infatuated with him due to his creativity and charisma. However, it wasn't until Wei and Melody started working together that he reciprocated her feelings towards him. Eventually, Wei broke up with Regina to be with Melody, much to Regina's resentment.

Because of his love for Melody, Wei aspires to become a famous actor, comedian, and filmmaker. He ice-skates as a hobby.

Ever since I redesigned Melody Everbelle, I've been wanting to do the same with her boyfriend, Prince Wei.
