It wasn't three years, but it was almost 3 months! 💀

Hi everybody! Back again to throw a crumb of art and to vanish off the face of the Earth again TwT! But hopefully, I will get better at posting more frequently now! I was too busy with college. Now it's over! Surely my summer won't be chaotic ;w;….

Anyway! Sorry it took so long to reintroduce Aurora's big brother, Luna's eldest child, “Erebus Nocte” a.k.a “Midnight”!

Unfortunately, I'm still unsure of Midnight's character, as far as personality goes. That's another reason why it took me so long to post this. It's like I want him to be the dark and mysterious type with a huge sweet spot for his family, friends, and potential lovers 👀. Like, have the likeness of Alucard from Castlevania, voice and all. But idk if it's too bland or boring. But hey, some characters have to start from somewhere! 🤷🏾‍♀️

All I know of him is that he's the current Warden or King of the Hollow Equestrian/Underworld bat pony Kingdom. A Kingdom his father, Vlad, once ruled before he was killed by an encounter with King Sombra (I don't think I have elaborated on this headcanon lore, so bare with me 💀🙏🏾). Btw, Midnight was born centuries before the events of Twilight's journey (I seriously need to make a timeline). So, he's an old immortal fellow who was blessed with a little sister hundreds of years later.

He loves Aurora and enjoys taking her on trips at night. He especially likes to fly around with her as depicted in the illustration. He's convinced that he taught her how to fly, but Luna also helped her with that ability. He cherished these moments with Aurora and made sure she had an eventful, carefree childhood as he couldn’t as a colt. His childhood was cut short due to him almost immediately having to take his father's position the second he became a teen. It's like he wanted to live through her young, merry life; like relive the childhood experience. But he tried not to make it about himself and made sure that she was always happy. However, during his lonesome, he would dwell on those thoughts of neglect and the loss of his youth, but he doesn't allow his feelings to corrupt his mind with jealousy and spite. He just understands that it's okay to feel a certain way, but just don't let it define him.

Maybe y'all can help me with his character! Sorry if my content has been a bit repetitive, uninspired, or a bit boring because I'm always so uncertain about my characters 😭. I'm still trying to understand my flow. I think I'm getting there, tho! :)
