It could be the means to an end, whether that end be performing in front of thousands, hearing the roar of the crowd as you finish with absolute perfection the piece of a lifetime…or to a record deal, your music spread across Equestria, and a very full bank account.
Or, it could mean…sniff…the years of hard work, of sweat and tears, all to make your father and mother finally proud of you, after so many years of disappointment…to finally show them that you mean something…
So, yes, dear…it may be just an instrument to some…but to me…it's so much more.
