Emerald hunkers down in the stairwell and keeps watch.

The noise the pirates make only continues, the few unicorns in the group other than Joyride begin firing bright, loud firework-like spells into the air. Joyride seems to abstain from this. Now that she isn't looking at Emerald it looks like she is concentrating rather hard on the ship.

"There you are. Come on, I thought you were going to help!" Ruby says from below Emerald, poking her head up to see the commotion, "Look, they are going to start soon! We should get ready!"

Ruby steps back down the stairs and motions for Emerald.
