Emerald yells to let them go, but the Order members ignore him. Getting an idea, he slowly draws his focus out and then blasts the ground near them with a push spell, throwing sand into the air.

At the same time Emerald rushes forward and grabs a coughing Ruby by the foreleg and dashes over to Hope. He then casts a shield spell targeted on the mare and covers them all.

By now the sand has mostly fallen away to reveal Joyride tangling with the two Order of the Arrow.

She doesn't seem to be doing too well. Everytime she tries to cast a spell at them either a bone crushing hammer swipes near her head or she has to dodge out of the way lest a fence pole sized arrow impale her.

Emerald says that they should probably clear away, and as they go to start to move a heavy crossbow bolt clangs against the shield, dizzying Emerald and nearly breaking his concentration.

"You are being detained. You are NOT free to leave." The mare says, before returning her attention to the fight between her brother and the unicorn.
