"Fine, don't believe me. Bring more misfortune upon yourself and possibly destroy everything. If you really insist on helping though you can do a few things. The blacksmith is making some sort of runes for a project by the mayor, stop it. Begonia is being held in the smokehouse. Kill her. The monster causing all these problems. the one called the 'Seeker of Knowledge', is in a secret room in the basement of the Birdsong college. Destroy the runes powering the spells. These things should at least delay him. But as long as you and I are here, we'll never been safe."

"So are you going to show me how to use these runes, or am I going to have to figure it out by myself?" Mulberry says, frowning annoyed.

"By yourself unfortunately. I can't do much to teach you in the short time we probably have to talk." Antoine says flatly.

"Is there anyone else here I can trust to help?" Mulberry asks.

"Of course not." he says flatly, again.
