Sorry I'm not second-guessing you. Lots of people made me think I was some kind of born loner, just because they were. Years of dying from loneliness kind of made me realize I actually… like being with people. So take it with a grain of salt when people say getting tired at a party means you're introverted; it's very convenient for the ones who raise you if you're quiet and compliant without any support outside of them.

Easier said than done. For some of us being in close proximity to other people for extended periods of time is hard work, fatiguing and frustrating.

The trick is to relax and enjoy yourself, regardless of what you think they want or you think they think. If you're there for their benefit, you'll feel like you're there for their benefit.
