The most popular president in American history (by number of votes) has rechristened Easter Sunday as Trans Awareness Day. Here at PonerPics, we like to do things after everyone else has already done them. Therefore, we are declaring Easter Monday to no longer be associated with a Christian Holiday, but with trans visibility, so that for one day out of a 366 day leap year, we may remember that Trans people exist. And of course, go back to forgetting about them the other 365 days a year.
Surveys have recently shown that the average booru user, in looking for images of cute ponies, may go as long as six hours without having a politicized sexual orientation shoved in their face. In order to prevent that, we’ve decided to make the entire CSS of the website one big, politicized flag to be shoved in your face, so that for this one day a year you may remember, “trans people exist.” Because, you know, otherwise you might forget that Transpeople exist. We sure did. But not today!
As Transpeople are ~1/160th of the population, we think it’s only fair to devote 1/366th of the year to them through changing our site colors. Because that’s how we show we care.
