Emerald dons Gile's bandanna, not around his neck where Joyride's mantle is, but around his head to keep the hair out of his eyes. He sees the look that Joyride is giving him, and quickly darts downstairs.

After a few seconds pass he peaks back up and sees everyone looking at the ship coming up to them.

"Raise the flag!" The captain shouts, and looking up Emerald sees the a black flag with a skull being hoisted.

At the same time this is happening all the pirates and Joyride begin yelling and firing pistols or spells into the air, creating a loud, disconcerting noise.

The raid is probably going to start soon, if it happens at all. Perhaps the ponies on the ship will give up?

Emerald isn't sure if he should leave now, or perhaps stick around to see what happens.
