Sunset called Twilight's parents and informed them of the situation. They arrived at the hospital within 20 minutes of the first phone call; they were distraught. They had gotten the message just prior to Sunset's phone call. Twilight Velvet was almost hysterical at her unresponsive daughter, whom was just barely stabilized and in a coma.

"Twilight… she lost a lot of blood. She nicked an artery in her arm and she bled fairly steadily…" Sunset said to Twilight's parents. They stood by her daughter's side until she was going to wake up. Sunset, too. Sunset got onto her knees by the bedside, amidst the parents in the room and all the commotion with the doctors and staff, the medical machines and heart monitors bleeping, the ambiance of a busy metropolitan hospital… Sunset grasped Twilight's pale, cold hand, brought it up to her lips and kissed it, tears rolling down Sunset's delicate face, whispered into Twilight's hand "You'll get through this. You're so f-cking strong, this is n-nothing. J-just.. let me do.." Sunset got an idea. The blood the Twilight lost was AB- type. Conveniently, it was Sunset's. Sunset immediately volunteered to donate what blood she can to Twilight to begin a blood transfusion process.
