>You don't know what to do…
>"So… Everypony is really gone?" Moonie asks.
>You merely nod, eyes focused on your broken friend.
>"And these things…" Moonie starts looking at the fleshy wreckage. "There are more?"
>"Possibly…" You answer.
>"I've only seen two myself, one at my home and this one here… Taku said there was one at her house as well"
>"I HATE IT!" Taku screams now looking very aggravated.
>"… The one that was at my place is dead, or at least I think it is… and there is something else…" You add.
>"What kind of something else?" Moonie asks.
>"A bell or a chime. We haven't seen what it's coming from, but we're pretty sure it's moving"
>Moonie looks out the nearest window.
>"There are some faculty rooms in the back… we can barricade the doors while we rest." Moonie says still looking out the window.
>"Once we are rested…" she starts again. "We are going to find that bell…"
>She walks over to Taku and overs a hoof to help her up.
>Taku rises to her hooves and the three of you head to the back rooms.
>You grab as many cushions as you can from the chairs around the library and make a bedded area for the three of you to sleep on.
>You then help Moonie push the large desk in front of the door to keep out intruders.
>By this time Taku is already fast asleep and you're feeling pretty beat yourself.
>"Go ahead and sleep, I'll keep watch" Moonie offers.
>"Besides, maybe some good sleep will clear those bags from your eyes."
>"Thanks… Bitch…"
>"No problem sperglord"
>You lay down right next to Taku and close your eyes.
>Hopefully Moonie's idea to find the bell is a good one.
>You don't think another encounter with something wrong will end as fortunately as this one did.
>As you wake you look around.
>Taku is still sleeping and Moonie is atop the desk with her ear against the door.
>What hell is going o- oh right the monsters and stuff.
>That wasn't a dream.
>"Is something out there?" You groggily whisper.
>Moonie listens for a while longer before responding.
>"Not anymore I think. Something came while you were sleeping. This thing could talk"
>You think about whether or not that is strange, neither of the creatures you have encounter really had any discernible mouths but they didn't seem intelligent enough for speech either.
>"Are you sure it wasn't another pony?" You ask.
>"Positive, I used a magic eye to look at it from under the door and watched it for a little while"
>She says getting off the desk.
>"What did it say?" You ask.
>Moonie starts moving the desk away from the door.
>"Sounded like it was looking for us, asking if anypony was here. I started to wonder if it was only mimicking speech until it found our handiwork… at which point it started laughing saying 'She's trying to intimidate me… how cute" before…"
>Moonie looks visibly queasy. "It ate it…" She finishes.
>She opens the door and looks around.
>"I'm pretty sure it left after that." she says stepping out.
>Taku awakes shortly after.
>"We ready to go?" Moonie asks.
>"Ye- Oh wait! I gotta grab something." you remember.
>"Make it quick" Moonie replies.
>You leave the room and head to the table Taku was doing research at.
>You pick up your makeshift sketchbook you left there earlier.
>You look up to where you killed the creature and see how much of a mess whatever came here afterward made.
>That could be you or Taku sometime in the near future…
>Probably best not to think about that.
>You return to the safe room.
>"Hey Taku Mind if I put this in your bag?" you ask.
>"Sure thing" She says taking off her backpack.
>You put your sketchbook inside alongside the the manga or possibly manhwa she had bought from the comic book store you two had gone to.
