This is one of three of my favourite pairing for Fluttershy
the other two being Rarishy and Fluttermac

In my main verse, Fluttershy and Sunburst are happily married with two kids (Tiger Lily and Zinnia) and one on the way. Sunburst himself has one daughter (Silk Sunrise)from his relationship with Cadance and Shining Armour but that doesn’t matter to Fluttershy who loves his daughter like her own.

These two have a quiet peaceful relationship, they both like to cuddle up in the evenings, Sunburst with a good book that he likes to read to Fluttershy who always listens even if she doesn’t understand it (Magic theory books are a favourite of Sunburst)
I like the idea that Sunburst eventually decides to make a book based on Magical creatures (like Newt Scamander) and that’s how him and Fluttershy grow closer.
He’s rather taken by how confident Fluttershy is with animals and she’s impressed by how dedicated he is to learning everything he can about the creatures he’s trying to study, they work well together and a easy friendship develops that eventually turns romantic.

i honestly love them together and I think it’s a ship that’s never had any chance to shine. I just feel they’d have such a sweet understated love
