The mare walks up to the basin and looks into it. It's empty, and lacks both a spigot and a drain. Mulberry then realizes that this was probably installed far before indoor plumbing was a thing.

The mare then carefully checks the cupboards under the basin. They are all empty, and since they have no dust within them Mulberry guesses that these probably haven't been opened for quite some time.

She leaves the girl's dormitory and then heads over to the male one, slowly opening the door and raising her locket to get a better look at the inside.

It opens up to a very similar room to the girl's. A plugged fireplace on one side, a rotting table with stools and a bookshelf on the other. This bookshelf is only partially collapsed and still has a book or two on it.
