HC — Twiburst Next gen
Hey again everyone! Sorry for my inactivity on DeviantArt. I've been caught up with school work and barely had time to work on art works and fanart of my favourite franchises including Steven Universe and My Little Pony. I've been inspired by many artworks of artistic fans both in fandoms and the amazing community. Although both series has come to an end, the two shows will always be dear in my heart, and I'll start posting fanart of my own!

Enough of me talking about myself, it's time for me to ramble more about my next generation alternative universe of many in MLP. The concepts, designs, and character development, story arcs and headcannons are shared between me and my sister between my sister and I.

Headcannon ahead! So buckle up!

Twilight Sparkle, the princess of friendship, the inspiring leader to many all over Equestria of the potent power of harmony. Encouraging unity of all, opens a school welcoming all students of species. In this AU, Twilight doesn't take reign of the royal sisters, ruling all over Equestria, it was never her passion to become a pretty princess admired by many. Her desire to learn and research sparks with eagerness with relevance to magic educated by Princess Celestia herself. She is a trained lecturer, informing students about lessons of theory, conspiracy, and research methodology on topics of Equestrian history of monarchy and one of her favourite topics, talented, and noble mage and magic spell developer, Starswirl the Bearded. She does also lecture upon companionship and morals used for everyday life, which she teaches less about apart from Equestrian heritage.

Days before her older brother, Shinning Armour and Cadence's anniversary taking place in the glistening haven, The Crystal Empire. She stumbles across retired Crystal Empirian wizard and mentor of Princess Flurryheart, Sunburst. The old pen pals had a long conversation of catching up and rambling as well as discussing intellectual subjects. Twilight has always known how experienced and productive her old friend was in educational and magical research he conducted. His profession and knowledge in witty but interesting and literate content made Twilight to focus on his career experience. As headmare of School of Friendship and Magic, on her behalf and headcounsellor Starlight Glimmer, they agreed to interview Sunburst to take part in the teaching coarse in the faculty, being trained by the princess. Her first goal was to pursue in lessons and integrity of friendship, but then she was invested of his deeper understanding connected to magical abilities and thesis. They would stroll around museums and local libraries, reading, learning and examining ancient studies of how relationships of companions, family, and romantic love's power and symbolism, strongly influenced and changed Equestria's generation and their maturity of those topics and how they help them grow to become the pony they are today and appreciate how they are. Sunburst felt extremely close with Twilight talking about their personal thoughts and relationships as well as a great common bond. Sunburst developed a monster crush on the alicorn, confessing after many months of learning. Twilight felt overwhelmed and baffled, drowning in her thoughts, choking through words she'd wanted to say, she was speechless. She eventually coughed up the the words that shattered the stallion's heart, "I'm sorry, Sunburst, You're a great friend but for me, I don't see you that way. His heart leapt in shame along with his limbs, he was scared of fear, portrayal, disgust. Of what he feared the most was him losing the image of what Twilight saw him as. It's gone, he thought, as the same voices circling around him that encouraged him to flunk Magic School, encouraging him to believe he was a failure. His childhood best friend, Starlight was there for him, to comfort him through his fears, heartbroken to see her friend devastated, they spent the days together, supporting them no matter what, not losing them. Sunburst felt it, he knew it, there was no one in the world like Starlight.
Twilight couldn't understand why his student left, she didn't want him to go. Going back and fourth with regret,
Did I hurt him? Would he come back? Does he still appreciate me? Do I like him?
She talked through Cadence about how she felt, the guilt weighed on her like number the geek herself couldn't imagine. She was in denial. He's just a friend, right? It hit Twi hard, a pony like Sunburst never had gave her as much affection, value and assimilation like he did than other ponies she met in her life. He was different. She blamed herself countless times for bushing him away, Cadence encouraged it's never too late. She doubted, she feared for her life, but she needed it to be done.

Where should I go? she pondered running across the town her heart's desire. As she entered the comfort of her home, with the blinked of an eye the door creaked, just to interlock eyes with Sunburst as he was about to leave with dismay. All he wanted was to just apologies for how he reacted knowing he could've done better or known better, but it wasn't just an apology of how is eyes sparkled with sorrow. He thought Starlight was the one there for him, but he always knew it was Twilight he was missing. The conversation felt like moons of self-blame, tears, and a series of apologies, they both realized they both were in fear, and in guilt. The alicorn princess felt sympathy over her companion, realizing how scared he was ever going to be good enough for her again. Sunburst realizing Twilight loved him, not knowing what to say or do, or to be trusted after many tormentation she gone through, never forgiving herself or trusting another again, but Sunburst earned her trust. They knew it, they loved each other deep in their hearts desire. Ending it all with a long soothing warm hug, and a new beginning.

And to also mention, Sunburst eventually got the job as an clique tutor held after school, revising subjects, topics and lectures by other counsellors, lecturers and teachers, since he is quite socially awkward, he would prefer educating small groups of creatures.


Intimacy in their relationship

- Sunburst isn't really the romantic type of stallion that flatter ponies, he identifies as demisexual. He does a few dorky attempts on his wife, but holds and awkward position
- Twilight says he's perfect the way he is and he should be himself, but secretly enjoys his cheesy flirting

- They weren't active in their relationship due to Sunburst's comfort, but Twilight always wanted a foal, which made her hubby hesitant. Advice was given to Cadence and friends of Twilight's who had experienced. A year of thinking, they made a final decision to have one, which was their first and last time being together.
- They sometimes stay up late nights sipping on Canterlot's fine wine, aged to perfection and chocolate, cuddling together reading drama and romance novels when they have free time.
- Twi gives her Sunny little kissus on the cheek before heading to work, of course he returns the favour before her evening lectures and meetings.
