I'm fine with them transforming into magical cartoon ponies and into cute girls, flying through the sky and casting magic, but a perfect relationship with the only person in the entire world you are attracted to, who just happens to be only attracted to you too is just too unrealistic for me.

Maybe I could buy it if they added a few eight foot long penises to it.

With a lot of fan work, the actual storytelling elements take a back seat to the blatant wish fulfillment fantasy stuff.
