While the medalists are still around, you decide to congratulate the unfamiliar face who placed just before you: an athletic pegasus mare with three tornadoes as a cutie mark.

Athletic mare: "Thank you! It was a lot of fun."

As you introduce yourselves to the mare, Sea Swirl and Sassaflash sit together in the grass nearby, chatting about the race.

Athletic mare: "My name's Sugar Twist. Nice to meet you! So you three know each other? Oh, Apple Basket — now that I see you up close, I realize that you're not even fully grown yet, huh?"

Apple Basket: "Heh, I'm gettin' there."

Sugar Twist: "Well, congratulations on getting first place! You've got the legs of an Apple, that's for sure."

Apple Basket: "Shucks, uh, thanks!"

You ask Sugar Twist how she's been enjoying the festival so far.

Sugar Twist: "I've been having a great time! And the food is delicious, as always."

Moonflower: "Oh! Have ya been to the festival before?"

Sugar Twist: "Hmm… I think it's my fourth Autumn Festival. It gets busier every year. I live in Ponyville, just across the forest, so it's a short flight away from home for all I can eat. Hey, I just noticed that your eyes are glowing. Is that a bat pony thing?"

Moonflower: "Kinda! It's 'cause I'm an oracle."

You explain that oracles are quite rare among bat ponies, not unlike alicorns in Equestria.

Sugar Twist: "Oh, wow! Does that mean you're like a princess? That would explain all the bat ponies at the festival this year."

Moonflower: "Yuh uh! We live close by, too, so we decided to check it out this year."

Sugar Twist: "I see! So um… should I bow? I don't know the first thing about bat pony customs."

Moonflower: "Heehee! It's okay! I'm nothin' special outside my clan; jus' a normal pony with glowy eyes, really!"

Sugar Twist: "Well, if you say so. It's just so hard for me to act casual around important ponies. Oh, Sassaflash! Hi there! — She's from Ponyville, too."

Sassaflash: "It's true! Hello. How's everypony feeling after the race? Just watching you guys made me hungry again."

Sugar Twist: "Tell me about it! I think I'm headed to the buffet next so I can recharge for some more dancing tonight. How about you?"
