There is precisely one method in which this image could be improved: more hats. In addition to AJ's stetson resting on the chair and the KFC bucket on Scootachicken's head, the following four hats could really add more politically-charged imagery for little additional effort:
1. Give one of the Apples Jack (or is Applejacks her proper plural?) a Russian bearskin hat
2. MAGA hat on the zebra being stopped & frisked
3. Trilby on Confederate Big Mac
4. RHEL's eponymous Red Hat on Fluttershy
If this image weren't already the pinnacle of political shitposting, I'd suggest the addition of a penguin and a wildebeest somewhere. However, those additional elements would make the whole thing too cluttered.

This… this is art. Art of what, I haven't a clue, but it is something that you can marvel at for hours. I don't think words can fully encapsulate what I am witnessing here. I feel wonder, horror, and contentment all at the same time, knowing that this must be the peak of what can be achieved by throwing together everything and nothing and somehow coming up with something in the end. Even so, a ping of longing, wondering if I will ever see such a sight in the future, or is this one of a kind, and I will never experience such a sight ever again? I ponder my existence. What is life if I can never again see wonders like I see here? Perhaps it was all in order to this day see what is before me, and to let it shape me, mold me into a person that can perhaps try to make such a thing as… this.
