Either way you're copying something, either way you're making a picture people like, without making them pay anything at all. If redrawing is even more worthwhile than tracing, can you really say OP is a waste of time? If you look at Inky Mitts's other art, you'll see that almost none of it is redrawing anything else, so why tell them to make their "own" works, if they already are?
Thanks for proving that you are unable to understand the difference between "hey, if you draw your own ideas instead of redrawing others', you'll get better faster" and "tracing someone else's YCH advert is against the rules there".
Derpibooru would probably be much more to your liking, as they deleted this picture for being an "Unauthorized trace," among dozens of others.
