On DB, you get banned simply if you ask a question to an artist, or for no reason at all. Literally. I personally got banned on DB just because someone sent a report on me, and when I asked the mod for which comments I was banned, he said "I don't know, I didn't read them." And I'm not talking about just a comment deleted, I got banned for 3 months…
@Background Pony #90B5 That's funny. Last year I was on PB and Undeadponysoldier was spamming the comment sections, REEEEEing in an especially non-lucid fashion about nothing in particular. I told him to stop spamming and shut the fuck up. My comment was taken down and I got banned. His stayed up. I left PB. I don't think this is worse than DB, exactly, but it is the sort of thing that's common on DB and it's why I don't go there any more either.
@Background Pony #CD5B Why? PB was created for a specific purpose, all art has a pass and all comments are free. So if you want to tell an artist that their art sucks or start talking about politics. Your comments will not be deleted unless they are spam or direct threats. And it still remains so.
Meanwhile on DB, if you write anything in the comments other than "good art" your account will be fucking banned right away.
