This is more glorious than I could have imagined. Disney got a 300 million dollar tax break for closing the hotel. If every room cost $6000 for 2 nights, they would have had to have 274 rooms booked for the entire year without paying for maintenance or staff to make 300 million dollars, and the hotel only had 100 rooms. The whole thing must have been a tax avoidance scheme designed to fail, a plot somehow even more ludicrous than The Producers!
