you can't trust everybody, and you can't dis-trust everybody,
no one is perfect but sometimes people just have problems it's not your job to fix. some people don't want help and just want to wallow in misery or scream at you, perhaps just be vague, distant or annoying. if they're not trying there is no point to try back. You & the other person, whoever you want to be friends with have to both want it and that isn't easy. they won't always agree with you, doesn't mean you have to put up with people yelling at you for difference in opinion.
it isn't easy and you do have to be careful, that doesn't mean 'test' your friendship with people or some shit like that. just go out on some game you like, or a community related to things you like (here for example) and just start talking to people. it won't always work but there is a chance it can.

Yes, get good and find the right people. I'm sure the "x" artist here doesn't know how because.. twitter. It's not easy and don't be afraid to just leave shitty or annoying people cause there is always somebody else for them to be shitty and annoying to so no reason to waste your time with that
