If it didn't get under your skin, why did you announce quitting when the notion was brought up? It doesn't really matter if it did or not, because the outcome is the same anyway. We aren't doing his idea this year and clearly it needs refining to be considered for any following year. You are blowing things out of proportion.

A theme can be "a comfy collab" with an emphasis on very few applicants and vast spacing. Its comfy because there are very little of us left.

You want a mediaevalist theme? Fuck it. Draw your oc in shining armor. Want sci-fi? Draw her/him in a hazmat suit. There's literally no time to think it over. We can only bang rocks together at this point.

I have read through your messages and it made me realize my mistake. Considering that I've started this thread, I might have been seen as a main organizer and curator of the collab, And it's proven to be my downfall. Bad PR can affect all in the works. This year my approach has been hindered by dismissive and illogical ramblings. A complete self indulgent disaster.

I accept my responsibility for not paying any attention to the collab itself. Only my own amusement. Its been my fault as well.

Everyone, please understand that I do not represent the event. It was fairly easy to compile several images into one without much hassle. My opinions, ideas have harmed the perceived outlook on collaboration itself. And for that I am sorry.

Return to my first message on this thread. See how it all started. Look pass what it has delved into.

It might have been helpful to say this a little bit sooner, but overall it is good to say it. We do need to be a bit more serious about the project if we want to present something this year. It seems everyone has a different idea on what to do and a solid direction needs to be established and promoted to get something made.

Would you like to be a sole collab curator? I think I've discouraged everybody from participating with my antics.

Maybe abandoning this thread and starting a new one without my involvement would reignite the interest?

I don't believe I have done myself any favors in this thread either, plus I am not an artist and I find myself unsure on what direction to take the project. I might as Lotus to do it.

get someone with real skill (not me) to place them all together in a group and have that be it for this year/collaboration. SFW, No overly designed OCs (tumblr/twitterite designs)

well it was mostly so whoever is compiling it together would have an easier time trying to cut the pony out. who is doing that? I don't know.. I know I'll be shit if I do it though

So, what's the deadline gonna be? November 30th seems reasonable.

Also, you're going to want to make sure people know about the collab if you want a decent number of submissions, mentioning it in /bale/, /create/ the draw thread, etc. would help, and maybe see if you can get the ponerpics staff to put a banner up for the people who don't browse the forums.
