I henceforth declare it against the spirit of the rules, the entire point is that it is a site artist contributing to a site event as a "hey we choose to use this place". paying someone to do it for you at the moment isnt technically against the rules.

i don't think commissioning a drawing and then using it as your submission it is against the rules.

With an August deadline, I will probably be able to make it if I can find an artist and submit a commission soon. I'll consider it.

The deadline is extended until August 31st, let me know if you plan to submit so I can keep track of who's participating. I can extend the deadline even further if necessary, I'm already aware of about 3 submissions that will be uploaded soon.

Last year's collab was supposed to happen earlier in the year but some drama occurred and I ended up picking it up later on.

I’m trying to help organize the Ponybooru community collab and people insisted that my proposed two month submission window isn’t long enough. There’s talk among the team of pushing it all the way out to November.
But I think your main problem is that you have no advertising beyond this thread. Over on PB we were able to get one of the mods to put up a site banner and I’ve been promoting it in the Discord server (I don’t know if PonerPics has one, but if it did it would be a great tool for promotion)
