Ah, screw it, the deadline's extended yet again to November 30th. Sorry Megalith, lol.

There's like three anons who wanted to make submissions and haven't yet uploaded anything, so I think we might as well extend it all the way to what it was last year and to allow for the maximum submission window (there's no way I want to deal with any of this in December), and maybe we'll get a few extra submissions too.

for one dumb politics that are purely based on "if you disagree with me you are bad person!!" for whatever flavor of the week political nonsense is happening. I don't engage in any of that, It's all shit so why argue about it. what's more annoying for me personally is just how mentally deficient all the users seem to be. just lacking in any sense of thought. I got one comment on my reuploads to the site and it was just a quote from the game related to the artwork. that's not bad but looking at recent comments It's all so terrible. ofc we get the average eqg-fetish toddler commenting on those images or asking an artist for more art but none are named or regular users. the regular users here are pretty much all from /mlp/ and are that level of retarded. I just read comments on derpi and feel like I'm in a daycare. that's what they get for censoring everyone they disagree with kek. just mindless babies left.

The “barely loads” part is true. The site’s been having a lot of technical issues this summer.

As for the AI stuff, it was “allowed” last year because there wasn’t a rule against it at the time. The issue didn’t come up until the 2023 collab was finished. There wasn’t much of a “debate” either, just some people asking for it to be banned in the future and no one really objecting.

There's a semi-common practice around here, particularly among the drawfags that used the old /bale/ Aggie, to create an OC based on one of the anonymous pony avatars from this site. So, if you want, you could create a new OC using that avatar you have there or find another one somewhere on here that you like more.

REMINDER: There is only one week left until the deadline.
I have spoken to one anon who said that he is unable to make the current deadline. We decided that if it was only him who is unable to make it, then the collab will continue as normal but if anyone else tells me that they also can't make it, then I'll extend the deadline (again, lol). Although, I am considering extending the deadline to the end of November regardless, to maximize the available time. Don't forget to PM me if you plan to make a submission and you're not sure if you'll make it in time.

Low effort is definitely a person to person thing. Not everyone is going to be able to pump out batsy level art, and usually people that do "good" art like that arnt judged when they do alot of lower effort art Than what they could do.
That rule is more about someone intentionally making bad art for the collab compared to what they normally do
